  Fernando Award Selects Five Finalists for 2007 Honor
The Fernando Award, the highest award for volunteerism and civic accomplishment in the San Fernando Valley, kicked off its annual recognition process with a luncheon to honor this year's 11 nominees. The 49th Jesse F. McHam Fernando Nomination Luncheon was held on Thursday, June 14th, at the Hilton Woodland Hills.

The Fernando Award, the highest award for volunteerism in the San Fernando Valley, will kick off its annual recognition process with a luncheon to honor this year's 11 nominees. The 49th Jesse F. McHam Fernando Nomination Luncheon will be held on Thursday, June 14th, at the Hilton Woodland Hills, 6360 Canoga Avenue. The event will begin with a Reception at 11:30 a.m., followed by a 12:00 noon Luncheon. The cost is $55 per person; the event is open to the public.
